Hot Wire Electrics Ltd is dedicated to using the latest technology to improve vehicle safety. We realised that while a left turn speaker provides an audible warning to vulnerable road users there was no system for providing a visual warning. To that end we have produced a Vulnerable Road User warning light system.

This system consists of a number of high powered LED lights which illuminate the danger area along the length of the vehicle. This serves to effectively “show” vulnerable road users an exclusion zone which they must not enter as the vehicle is manoeuvring.

The lights can be configured in the best way for your needs for example setting them to only work at speeds below 15mph or for quarry and plant equipment ensuring they work at all times.

The lights can also be used with an LED projection module. The projector displays a non instructional symbol on the ground at the rear of the vehicle that easily draws attention and clearly warns people of a potential hazard or risk. In low light situations the effect of the lights and the projector are even more dramatic. Coupled with cameras and a cyclist side scan system the safety of the vehicle is drastically improved.
