With the cost of a new heavy good vehicle often being over £100,000 and exceeding the cost of many super cars it’s strange that many times we come across poor workmanship and unsafe installations in HGVs like the one shown to the left. - We won’t sell you a 5 channel DVR if you only need 2 cameras fitted, we won’t force you into lengthy contracts for live view software unless you would actually benefit from it.

- We design custom brackets, use manufacturer recognised wiring locations, plugs and terminals for vehicles to ensure a clean, reliable installation.

Unfortunately there is no simply answer to this question. We do our best not to over complicate our service however we pride ourselves on suppling a bespoke solution not a standard one size fits all kit. Every customer has different requirements, different locations, different number of trucks all of which require different solutions and different prices. The simplest answer is contact us.
Unless you have purchased the parts from ourselves or it is a well know system we do not install other manufacturers equipment. Due to the rise in cheap systems available on the internet we are unable to guarantee the quality of components not bought from us. Hot Wire Electrics covers parts and labour for 3 years from the point of installation and we simply cannot honour this with other kits.
Absolutely. Hot Wire Electrics have approved supplier status with many manufacturers such as DAF, Renault, Volvo and MAN. The cost of the system can then be financed via the dealership into the total cost of the vehicle. This option is very popular with a lot of franchise hauliers.
Yes. We install almost all electrical accessories to vehicles. We offer such a large range of services it would be impossible to list the all on the website. Some equipment we fit that isn’t listed include televisions, microwaves, inverters, high voltage detections systems, radar equipment and even audio visual upgrades. If there is something you would like but don’t see on the website please contact us.
Anywhere within reason. We travel all over the country carrying out installations. There have been a few rare occasions in which we have had to cancel work due to the weather or for safety reasons. The majority of our work takes at least 1 full working day to complete weather permitting. We advise customers to have the vehicle stood done completely unless agreed with us beforehand.
